Cidre Intrus X The Parcelles
Text & Photography / Catherine Bernier
Some projects feel like they were written in the wind long before they take shape — this one tastes exactly like that.
Cidre Intrus has landed at The Parcelles, in Seaforth, Nova Scotia. Born from shared daydreams and coastal encounters, this saline cider with wild rose notes captures the true spirit of this place: wild, untamed, and deeply rooted in the sea.
Glassy, flirty, unforgettable — it’s the taste of a September swell, bottled. You can almost feel the salt on your lips, the Atlantic breeze rolling over the dunes, the warmth of late-afternoon light stretching across the fields.
This collaboration grew naturally, much like the friendships and creative exchanges that shape life at The Parcelles. The artwork, by illustrator Anne-Julie Dudemaine, bloomed from her time in residence at the cabin — a visual echo of the cider’s essence: organic, intuitive, touched by the sea.
Creative direction and photography by Catherine Bernier bring the bottle to life, while Julia Morin, our muse, embodies the cider’s quiet confidence and coastal ease. And a final, grounding touch: a pinch of Sel Saint-Laurent, infusing the cider with the true taste of the North Atlantic.
